The original limestone five room cottage built by pioneer H.E. Hall circa 1832. It was restored in 1994 to near original condition. The Cottage is furnished with the earliest pieces available, although these are not the original house furnishings. The furniture and artefacts illustrate the living conditions of the day.

Naval Memorial Reserve
The amenities were very clean as was the beach and the park. The access to the beach was very easy and wheelchair friendly. Everyone seem very respectable to each other and their dogs. It was good that they had plenty of plastic bags for the dog droppings. My dog and l will definately be going back. One small complaint there are no benches on the beach front itself. Plenty on the grassy area but not the beach and unfortunately l can not stand for long so l had to cut my stay shorter than l would have liked. Love it.

Nice piece of W.A history. Dumbleyung is not too far off Albany Hwy if you are heading south. Nice detour takes in Dumbleyung and its lake, and continuing south offers some other great little towns. Dumbleyung is a lovely quiet and clean town.
